Q’s Bar and Lounge, Quincy Jones’ first-ever bar and lounge located at Palazzo Versace Dubai, just announced ‘The Strike’, a 5-member independent band as the next electrifying musical group to grace the stage, starting from February 20th to May 12th, 2018.
The Utah-based band ‘The Strike’ pride themselves in bringing true funk and rock back to pop music with captivating performances and infectious personalities. They travel to Dubai with a large, beloved following, and have become renowned for their incredibly high energy performance style, songwriting, powerful tenor lead vocalist, and refined musicianship.
“Man, The Strike is the REAL deal! These are the exact types of musicians we need at the forefront, and they know how to do it right. I can feel them expressing their heart and soul through their music, and I can’t wait for Dubai to feel it too!”, said Quincy Jones.
Formed in 2012, the band is headed by frontman Chris Crabb and supported by Brady Bills on guitar, Chase Baker on bass, Myles Lawrence playing the saxophone, Marcus Anderson on trombone and keyboards, and Matt Millington on the drums. ‘The Strike’ have achieved an impressive portfolio of performances on the same ticket as high profile artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Journey, and Macy Gray, as well as licensing music to popular programs - NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”, and ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars”. ‘The Strike’ continue to captivate audiences with popular songs including “Atom Bomb” and “Warriors” and promise thrilling, unique performances.
