In 1998, Sunland Group, together with Gianni Versace S.p.A had a bold vision to create the world’s first fashion branded hotel and residence experience.
When guests are travelling, the luxury of a home environment is key to attracting them, and it was this factor that provided the inspiration for how to extend the Versace brand into the creation of hotels and resorts. Accordingly, Palazzo Versace was created to echo the layout of world-renowned palaces, with a central area for all guests, while Ala Sinistra and Ala Destra (the left and right wings) accommodate the private residences.
Palazzo Versace Gold Coast opened its doors in September 2000 and a new luxury address was created. Designed as a “destination within a destination”, guests are able to immerse themselves in the lifestyle of Versace through the combined experience of luxurious residential living and exclusive hotel services.
